The defenders conducted successful counteroffensive actions on the western outskirts of Bakhmut.
This was reported by the press service of the 3rd separate assault brigade.
The width of the breakthrough was 2000 meters and the depth was 700 meters. Thus, as the brigade explains, the soldiers created a bridgehead for a further counteroffensive.
At the same time, the defenders eliminated at least 50 occupants dead and up to 100 wounded, and 4 more invaders were captured. In addition, Ukrainian defenders eliminated enemy reserves in the Bakhmut sector, including several Russian ammunition depots.
As reported earlier, the aggressor is beginning to realize that the initiative in the Bakhmut area is being taken by Ukraine. A representative of the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Cherevaty, emphasizes that the Russians have no “shell hunger”.
