Ukrainian Defense Forces demonstrate the launch of three British Brimstone anti-tank missiles (video)

Launches from an air launcher for the Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jet

Last year, the Ukrainian Armed Forces began receiving Brimstone anti-tank missiles. In a recently released video on the Special Operations Forces, missiles are seen being launched.

The launcher is located on a civilian truck. Footage from the video shows the launch of three Brimstone anti-tank missiles of an unknown version.

It is worth noting that Brimstone is an air-to-surface and surface-to-surface missile. Special operations forces use an aircraft launcher equipped with Eurofighter Typhoon fighters.

Brimstone was developed by MBDA UK. The second version of the missile, when launched from a fighter jet, has a launch range of more than 60 km. In the ground version, the range is likely to be no more than 15 km. In flight, it can reach a speed of 450 m/s (M=1.3).
