The Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to destroy a valuable radar system of the Russian army. The Zoopark station came under attack.
Late last week, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully destroyed 34 pieces of military equipment in the south of the country. In particular, six tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, seven artillery systems and nine drones.
The most valuable target was the Zoopark radar station. Oleksandr Shtupun, spokesman for the Tavriya division, said the cost of the complex exceeds $10 million. So far, at least 13 Zoo systems in various configurations have been documented destroyed.
The Zoo-1 complex is built on the MT-LB chassis. It is used for reconnaissance and search for enemy ground artillery systems. The station can determine the enemy’s position and the trajectory of the projectiles.
