Ukrainian developers have created “Stalker 5.0” – a naval drone hunting for the Russian Black Sea Fleet

Ukraine has created a new naval drone for various combat missions, from reconnaissance and logistics to kamikaze. The surface kamikaze drone has a 150 kg warhead and can cover a distance of 600 km.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have received another maritime unmanned platform, an unmanned boat called Stalker 5.0. The weight of the combat unit in the new surface drone is 150 kilometers, but the Stalker has a compartment in the body that can be used for additional payload, as well as for transporting provisions, ammunition, and equipment to the areas of the coast where our Ukrainian Defense Forces are located.

The cost of one drone is 60 thousand euros. The range is 600 km, the gasoline engine can reach a speed of 75 km/h, and the cruising speed is 55 km/h. The boat is 5 meters long and 1.2 meters wide.

In addition to the kamikaze function, the Stalker can also be used for reconnaissance and coastal patrol in sea and river border regions. Drone control communication is based on Starlink.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces already have various surface unmanned platforms in their arsenal: Sea Baby, Magura V5, Kozak Mamai, which played an important role in the destruction of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
