Ukrainian drone ‘Fury’ helped to destroy the Russian missile system ‘Uragan’
The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the Russian Uragan surface-to-air missile thanks to the Furia drone.
Fighters of the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign used an unmanned aerial vehicle to search for enemy equipment. The ‘Fury’ drone found the Russian ‘Uragan’ multiple rocket launcher system, helped to direct fire and filmed the destruction of the MLRS.
‘Furia’ is a Ukrainian unmanned aviation complex, which includes three drones. In 2015, it was adopted by the National Guard of Ukraine. The Armed Forces began using UAVs in 2020.
The cost of the aviation complex is approximately ₴4-4.5 million. This amount includes pilot training and additional equipment, so one ‘Furia’ drone costs approximately ₴1 million.
