Ukrainian drones with grenades destroy two Russian T-80 tanks worth $4.4 million
The Army of Drones project has published a video of two drones being used to destroy Russian tanks. The attack was successful.
The project page states that soldiers of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade’s attack drone company destroyed two enemy T-80 tanks. Both combat vehicles were hit in the Luhansk region. The report also says that their total value is $4.4 million.
The “Army of Drones” does not specify which of the T-80 modifications was destroyed. The newest one is called T-80BVM. It appeared in 2018. The tank was equipped with a 2A46M-4 gun and dynamic Relict protection, which none of the five previous versions of the T-80, which were built before the collapse of the USSR, can boast of.
