Ukrainian FPV drone Pegas+ effectively destroyed a Russian T-62MV tank with a barbecue on the turret (video)
The Pegas+ unmanned aerial vehicle of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has effectively destroyed another Russian T-62VM tank. This time, a T-62MV came under attack from a kamikaze drone.
A Russian combat vehicle was destroyed in the Donetsk region. The video first shows the FPV drone flying into the tank, and then shows the explosion from another angle.
The T-62MV was equipped with additional protection, which was popularly called a “brazier”. It consists of gratings welded onto a tower. Sometimes they throw sandbags on top. This is supposed to protect the tank from Bayraktar TB2 drones and Javelin missiles.
In conclusion, we should add that T-62MV tanks are not as common in warfare as many other combat vehicles. According to Oryx analysts, since February 24, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have captured or destroyed 15 Soviet-made T-62MVs and one 2022 model tank.
