Ukrainian HIMARS destroys a whole battery of Msta-S self-propelled guns (video)
It is not known where the drone video was shot and when.
Four Russian Msta-S self-propelled guns were destroyed by a single strike from a Ukrainian Haymars. A spectacular video of a precise strike by the Ukrainian military was published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It shows an American multiple launch rocket system destroying four Russian self-propelled guns at once. However, the General Staff did not specify where and when the video was filmed.
The video shows Ukrainian soldiers initially taking aim at Russian military vehicles hidden in a forested area, with a plowed field in the background. Then there is a volley and a direct hit on Russian military vehicles. They explode, and Russian soldiers run away from them, some with their clothes on fire.

What is M142 HIMARS
The M142 HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) is an American highly mobile artillery missile system, or, simply put, an American multiple launch rocket system on a wheeled chassis.
“The Hybrids can carry six MLRS rockets or one ATACMS tactical ballistic missile. It has been produced since the 1990s.
What is Msta-S?
And the Russian Msta-S is a Soviet and Russian 152-mm divisional self-propelled howitzer developed in the 1980s at the Ural Transport Engineering Plant.
Earlier, the Ukrainian military told us how they were trained in the United States to work with the Haymars: they learned the skills at a training ground in the United States.
According to the Ukrainian military, the Humvees are very fast and maneuverable, and it is not easy to catch up with them even in a field jeep.
“Due to its speed, all chances of being caught are minimized. We minimize the factors that can contribute to the enemy’s ability to detect us, hit us, and reveal our waiting or concentration areas,” said the HIMARS operator.
According to them, the coordinates for destruction can have a specific number of missiles – 1, 2, 3 or even 6. The installation is deployed in a few seconds, launches, and then quickly folds up and leaves the launch site. This is exactly what was demonstrated in the video.
However, the Ukrainian military notes that the Russians are hunting for HIMARS and, according to rumors, the Russian Federation even awards a “Hero Star” for a destroyed HIMAR.
The soldiers say that since Ukraine received these installations, not a single one has been destroyed. And the missiles launched are virtually impossible to intercept.
