Ukrainian military demonstrates MT-LBU equipped with domestic combat module “Parus” (video)

The Ukrainian military published a video showing an MT-LBU equipped with a domestic BM-7 Paruscombat module.

These Soviet universal tracked vehicles were actively modernized after Russia began its aggression. In particular, with the beginning of a large-scale invasion. Therefore, this footage can be taken both recently and several years ago.

BM-7 Parus is a Ukrainian remotely piloted combat module. It is installed on light armored combat vehicles. It is similar in characteristics to the Sturm, with the main design difference being that the Parus does not take up space inside the hull of the base vehicle

The combat module is designed to engage manpower, armored objects, and firing points from a standstill and on the move (at speeds up to 10 km/h). The system can also engage low-flying, low-speed air targets.

The module is equipped with a 30-mm KBA-1 cannon, a 30-mm automatic grenade launcher, a 7.62-mm KT-7.62 machine gun, and a Barrier ATGM with two missiles.
