Ukrainian soldiers destroy occupants’ “Soncepyok” on the left bank of Kherson region (video)
Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Russian heavy flamethrower system “Solntsepek”, which was used by the occupiers to fire at the positions of Ukrainian military on the left bank of the Kherson region.
A video of the successful hit was posted on social media.
The Special Operations Forces stated that their colleagues from the Ukrainian Navy and Security Service helped them to “disable” the enemy equipment.
It happened in the area of Krynok, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces bridgehead is located on the left bank of the Kherson region.
The video shows how the SDF operators, together with the servicemen of the 140th separate reconnaissance battalion of the Marines, detect a Russian Solntsepek and strike it with attack drones.
The TOS-1A Solntsepek fires thermobaric ammunition, with 24 shells in a volley, which can cover an area of 200×200 meters. The Ukrainian military also has several such systems in service, acquired during the battles against the Russians.
