Ukrainians have created mini-backers and drone-steels (video)
Their cost is incomparably lower than all existing (and non-existing) analogues, but at the same time they showed high efficiency during real combat operations. By the way, as the developers say, they waited quite a long time to get the opportunity (and the right) to at least say something about their inventions.
Before the Russian invasion of Ukraine, these people walked the seas and oceans under sails and enjoyed the sea and the wind. But the war forced them to reorient themselves from business to charity by creating a unique flying weapon at their own expense. This is how the ‘Territory of Life’ charitable foundation was born, which appeared after 2014, but was transformed in 2022. It consists of people of various worldviews and professions, but most of them are skippers and captains.
‘We trained almost 1,000 skippers, had our own fleet on the Dnipro and a training yacht in Turkey. Flotillas of 30 ships were assembled… this year they planned to prepare for a round-the-world trip. But it’s okay, we’ll still have time. What we are doing now is necessary for victory!’ — says Pavlo Nepsha, head of the Marinero yacht captains’ school, who is also the founder of the ‘Territory of Life’ charitable foundation.
So, what would it be possible to create seemingly far from weapons and UAV Yachtsmen? Of course, in addition to the desire and the thirst for victory, specialists in engineering and design of unmanned aerial vehicles were needed. Fortunately, there are such in Ukraine, and they are devoted to their business, and when it comes to the help of the army, especially.
Since all the subtleties can not be opened, let us dwell on the key features of Ukrainian inventions.
Mini-Bayrakar:
- All parts (including a projectile shank) are made on a 3D printer;
- It can be equipped with a fugas, shrapnel and cumulative shells;
- Compact sizes and quietness make them almost imperceptible to the enemy;
- Perform two functions at the same time – aero -intelligence and the defeat of combat force;
- Able to impress different goals – from the enemy’s living power to armored vehicles.
Stealth drone:
- Compact dimensions combined with a long flight range
- Remains invisible to the enemy due to a unique mechanism of bypassing the enemy’s electronic warfare system;
- The device was developed in Ukraine and has already attracted foreign investors;
- Suitable for use in secret missions in densely built-up villages and cities
- Low cost and lack of competitors in terms of price/characteristics
Note that in addition to UAVs, over the past 130-odd days, the ‘Territory of Life’ charitable organization, together with students and graduates of the Marinero yachting school (and also thanks to donations), provided more than 200 systems for the delivery of ‘gifts’ to orks by drones and purchased more than 45 pickup trucks and about 20 minibuses, jeeps and other cars.
