Ukrposhta has agreed with 14 countries on free delivery of items to Ukraine

Ukrposhta continues to negotiate with the world’s post offices to provide preferential terms for delivery to Ukraine during the war – currently 14 postal operators from other countries have introduced free delivery of items to Ukraine, according to the press service of the national postal operator.

We are talking about delivery from abroad to specific recipients in Ukraine, indicating the recipient, address, index, and contact phone number. As a national postal operator, Ukrposhta delivers these items free of charge to its branches in Ukraine, where recipients can pick them up. You can send clothes, household goods, products in factory packaging up to 10 kg, a small amount of over-the-counter drugs. It is forbidden to send alcohol and military goods.

World Post Offices Offering Free Shipping to Ukraine (as of April 8)

  • Austria. The Austrian Post (Österreichische Post AG) sends free of charge shipments of up to 30 kg to Ukraine from its post offices as well as partner post offices. More details – at the link.
  • Armenia. From March 15, 2022, the Armenian Post reduces the cost of delivery to Ukraine by 60%. In addition, clients can send free humanitarian aid in parcels of up to 10 kg from the Main Post Office of the Armenian Post Haypost to the address: Armenia, Yerevan, st. Saryana, 22, 0002.
  • Guernsey. Guernsey Post provides a free service for sending addressed and unaddressed parcels with humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Unaddressed parcels are accepted at the Main Post Office and sent to the warehouse address in Poland, from where they are delivered to Ukraine (warehouse address, as well as packing requirements are listed on the website). You can also send a free parcel or letter to a specific recipient from the Main Post Office Envoy House.
  • Gibraltar. From March 2, 2022, the Royal Gibraltar Post delivers shipments to Ukraine, including letters, small packages and parcels up to 5 kg, free of charge. Humanitarian mail is received at the Royal Gibraltar Post Office on Main Street.
  • Georgia. From March 1, 2022, Georgian Post customers can send parcels to Ukraine free of charge at each post office.
  • Jersey. From March 1, the Jersey Post will provide a free service for sending shipments to Ukraine. Parcels can be sent from Broad Street Post Office and Rue des Pres Post Office.
  • Estonia. Estonian Post (Omniva) delivers parcels weighing up to 30 kg free of charge from all post offices to Ukraine. Details on how to send – follow the link.
  • Ireland. An Post (Irish Post) has volunteered to send letters, small packages and parcels up to 20 kg to Ukraine free of charge. The Post of Ireland also provides a number of free services to Ukrainians who have emigrated in connection with the war, namely: recharging a SIM card for three months, obtaining a secure virtual address (for those who do not have a postal address), receiving/sending Western Union money transfers without commission, etc.
  • Cyprus. Cyprus Post has launched free delivery of parcels weighing up to 5 kg to Ukraine from its branches.
  • Poland. Poczta Polska has launched a free delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukraine in EMS shipments weighing up to 20 kg. Parcels can be sent from branches that receive EMS shipments. More details – at the link.
  • Slovenia. Free parcels with humanitarian aid can be sent to Ukraine at Pošta Slovenije offices. Delivery details – follow the link.
  • Slovakia. The Post of Slovakia (Slovenská pošta) sends parcels weighing up to 5 kg free of charge to Ukraine. More details – at the link.
  • Hungary. The Hungarian Post (Magyar Posta) sends parcels to Ukraine free of charge from all post offices. More details – at the link.
  • Czech Republic. Česká Pošta offers free shipping of standard parcels up to 30 kg to Ukraine. First of all, you need to fill out a customs declaration (it is better to do it online at www.PoslatZasilku.cz), print it out and bring it with the parcel to the office. It is also possible to fill in the declaration at the post office. Customers can send to Ukraine up to 5 standard parcels (both economy and priority) weighing up to 30 kg. Ukrposhta accepts incoming shipments to Ukraine from more than 40 countries, namely Great Britain, Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Moldova, Sweden, Kazakhstan, Norway, Austria, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, Estonia, Romania, Greece, Georgia, the United Arab Emirates and a number of other countries.
