Video of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine’s response to the aftermath of an enemy attack in Kyiv
On the morning of January 2, Russian occupants attacked Ukraine from strategic aviation. A series of explosions occurred in Kyiv and Kharkiv. As a result of the attack, people were killed and wounded, and houses were destroyed.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports that Obukhiv, Boryspil, Bucha, and Fastiv districts in Kyiv region suffered from massive shelling on January 2.
Two people were killed and 16 injured, including a child.
A number of private houses and more than 60 cars were damaged.
In m. In Vyshneve, people were evacuated from their damaged homes to the nearest heating centers. Rescuers eliminated a fire in a residential building in Fastiv district.
The falling debris caused a fire in an unfinished church, damaged several businesses, warehouses, and one of the regional medical institutions.
A number of communities in the Brovary, Bucha, Fastiv, and Vyshgorod districts also experienced problems with power supply.
Rescuers and emergency services are working on the ground.
Also, in Kyiv, as of 12:00, 2 people died and 43 were injured in a multi-storey residential building in the Solomyansky district. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service are working at the site and have already helped 80 people.
The attack also resulted in a power outage for some electricity consumers in Kyiv and Kyiv region. DTEK power engineers restore power supply to 250,000 Kyiv residents who were left without electricity due to morning shelling
Some residents of Kurenivka (Kyiv district) are left without power. The estimated time of recovery is 17.00.
