Visa has announced the launch of She’s Next, a digital community platform for women entrepreneurs from Eastern and South Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus, created in partnership with Emerging Europe, a respected business and community development platform specializing in the region.
The purpose of the platform is to bring together entrepreneurs from different countries and create opportunities for networking, sharing experiences, and expanding business internationally, the company said in a press release.
“The She’s Next Empowered by Visa initiative is aimed not only at empowering women, but also at creating a community of ambitious like-minded women,” commented Vera Platonova, Senior Vice President, Regional Director, Visa 17. “While organizing international events dedicated to women’s entrepreneurship, we noticed an interesting detail: participants of previous She’s Next projects from different countries easily find common ground based on the same interests and values. The results of a survey among business owners conducted by Visa in partnership with Emerging Europe 2022 showed that 85% of respondents were ready to join the international community of entrepreneurs. That’s why we created it so that women can share best practices, learn from each other, and grow as leaders.”
The website hosting the platform contains a variety of content available to everyone. Women can learn more about leadership, other entrepreneurs, find inspiration, and acquire useful skills. The website also includes useful content created in cooperation with Emerging Europe: podcasts, interviews, and author’s columns with practical advice from experts in various fields.
“The platform is designed not only for mutual learning, but will also provide opportunities for mentoring, international networking, and finding funding and assistance from business support organizations. And all of this through one convenient and accessible tool,” said Andrew Vrubel, Founding Partner of Emerging Europe.
She’s Next, a digital community platform, will give users the opportunity to:
- fill out a detailed questionnaire during registration, indicating your country and countries of interest, professional field, goals of staying on the platform, in order to continue receiving
- targeted assistance from a community manager;
- find business partners;
- develop your personal brand and increase your business awareness, publish posts and materials;
- find mentors at their own request and become mentors, willing to share knowledge and experience;
- participate in discussions, webinars, and events;
- learn about She’s Next Empowered by Visa events and opportunities in your country and others.
Each new member of the platform will also have the opportunity to communicate with a community manager who will help them navigate the community, find groups of interest and make acquaintances, and share links to useful materials.
The She’s Next digital community platform is open to anyone interested in entrepreneurship, from those with a business idea but no business yet to startup owners and women who run established businesses.
