The Armed Forces of Ukraine may receive a batch of Soviet MiG-29 fighters. This was stated by Polish President Andrzej Duda in an interview with CNN.
Duda said that Ukraine can count on all the fighters that are in service with the Polish Air Force. These are six MiG-29UBs and 22 MiG-29As.
According to the president, Poland is ready to provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with all the aircraft and expressed confidence that Ukraine could immediately begin using them in the war against Russia. Duda added that in the long term, the Ukrainian army will switch to NATO standards and use American fourth-generation F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters.

Since February 24, 2022, Ukraine has been using MiG-29s in service. Last year, Ukrainian and American specialists were able to integrate AGM-88 HARM missiles into Soviet fighters. Now there is talk of pulling off the same trick with AIM-120 AMRAAM air-to-air missiles.
