‘We do not kill anyone’: Lukashenko for the first time confirmed the participation of Belarus in the war in Ukraine
He said that “no one will shoot the Russians in the back from the territory of Belarus. This is our participation.”
The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, confirmed that Belarus is participating in the war in Ukraine. He said this at today’s meeting on military security.
“Regarding our participation in a special military operation in Ukraine, we are participating there. We do not hide it. But we don’t kill anyone. We are not sending our military anywhere. We do not violate our obligations,” – Lukashenko said.
He called the goal of Belarus’ participation in the war “to prevent the spread of this conflict to the territory of Belarus”, as well as “to prevent the task of striking Belarus under the guise of a special military operation by Poland, Lithuania and Latvia.”
He added that “no one will shoot the Russians in the back from the territory of Belarus. This is our participation.”
Earlier, the political technologist said that no one is in charge of Russia after the announcement of mobilization. According to the expert, two people – the head of the Chechen Kadyrov and the co-owner of the company “Wagner” Prigozhin – are already the masters of the situation in Russia.
