WhatsApp adds private chats with password access
The developers of the green messenger have announced the launch of a new feature that allows restricting access to private chats with special passwords.
The innovation is called “secret codes.” They provide another layer of protection in case someone gains access to your phone.
Users can also hide the Private Chats folder from the general list. It will be visible only after you enter the secret code in the search bar. If you don’t want to hide your chats, you can leave them in the general chat list. To move a new chat to the closed category, just click and hold on it. You no longer need to go to the chat settings.
The secret codes are already available to some users, and soon other WhatsApp users will receive it.
