Which tabs in the browser are the most “loaded” on your system: a new feature in Google Chrome allows you to find out
A very useful feature is now available to Google Chrome users. With Memory Usage, you can see the “weight” of each tab you have open in your browser. The new feature allows you to easily identify the most “difficult” ones. They can be closed if not needed to reduce the load on the system.
You can activate Memory Usage in your browser settings. To view the amount of RAM that a tab occupies, just move the mouse cursor over it.
Memory Usage is already available in Chrome build 119 for Linux, Mac OS, and Windows. According to the online publication 9to5google, the search giant’s developers will roll it out worldwide in the next few weeks. The exact timing of Memory Usage’s launch in Europe is not specified.
