What is known about the target
The 2S19 is a Soviet-made howitzer that was commissioned in 1989. In 2012, Russia began mass production of an upgraded version called 2C19M2. The Russian army received the first batch of these artillery systems in 2013, consisting of 35 pieces of equipment.
The improved artillery unit is equipped with a 152-mm 2A64M2 gun, which has an increased rate of fire and improved accuracy.
In order to reduce visibility, the howitzer received a “Cape” camouflage kit. The same camouflage can also be seen on the modernized T-90M Proryv tanks.
