Xbox will officially start working in Ukraine
The Ministry of Digitsl of Ukraine has agreed with Microsoft on the official launch of Xbox services in Ukraine. This agreement was reached during talks with Microsoft President Brad Smith at a forum in Davos.
“It has been agreed that the Xbox will be officially registered in Ukraine. It will finally be possible to register a Ukrainian account and the Ukrainian language will be available,” – the Ministry of Digital said.
Microsoft will also help Ukraine document Russia’s war crimes, and is already working with the UN team to share information on the losses from the war in Ukraine.
In turn, Brad Smith said: “Microsoft has supported and will continue to support Ukraine.”
Microsoft estimates that its initiatives have provided Ukraine with $242 million in digital support. These include financial grants, promotional campaigns, and free access to the company’s products and services.
