The sirko-s1 robot has successfully passed tests in extreme conditions

The Ukrainian robotic platform Sirko-S1 was tested in low temperatures and snow cover. Yevhen Rvachov, a developer of the ground drone, wrote about this on Telegram.

In the video he published, you can see how the robot with a payload of metal disks moves on flat terrain. Next, you can see footage of a robotic platform moving through deep snow and a snow-covered field with remnants of vegetation.

According to Rvachov, the UGV Sirko-S1 drone successfully passed all tests. At an air temperature of -6°C, it overcame all obstacles with 200 kg of payload on board. The drone showed impressive maneuverability and endurance.

The Sirko-S four-wheeled robotic platform is equipped with a camera, laser rangefinder system, and thermal imager. The ground drone can automatically follow a person. It can be used for cargo delivery, reconnaissance, evacuation of the wounded, and communication. The drone weighs 45 kg. It travels at a speed of 12 km/h over rough terrain. The range of the communication channel with the operator can reach 5 km.
