Three regions of Ukraine – Ternopil, Zhytomyr, and Chernivtsi – have recorded exceeding the high-level epidemic threshold, the Ministry of Health reports.
Anti-epidemic measures may be intensified in the respective regions after analyzing the epidemic situation and by the decision of local authorities.
For example, to declare local quarantine in certain classrooms or schools, to strengthen anti-epidemic measures in crowded places, such as masks, limiting the number of visitors to institutions and organizations.
During the epidemic season, “epidemic thresholds” (maximum permissible levels of morbidity) are set at the level of each region, after which anti-epidemic measures should be strengthened at the level of regions, cities or communities, the Ministry of Health explains.
What to do at the first sign of a cold:
- consult your family doctor;
- do not start self-medication, follow the recommendations of doctors;
- take care of the safety of your family and colleagues during the illness: stay at home, use individual utensils;
- get vaccinated.
