OSINT analysts release new photos of Crimean bridge after storm

New satellite imagery shows that the Russian defense of the Crimean bridge has been severely damaged by the storm. Most of the barges in front of it were washed away or flooded from the Black Sea.

The images were published by OSINT analyst MT_Anderson.

According to satellite imagery, the defenses of the Crimean bridge as of November 28, 2023, have suffered quite significant damage compared to what was recorded on October 4.

For example, near the bridge, 3 barges are flooded and 1 is partially flooded, 2 barges are completely washed away. Another barge remains afloat, but it is not tied to anything.

What is known about the storm in Crimea

On November 26, the temporarily occupied Crimea was hit by a severe weather storm. The media have already dubbed the storm in the Black Sea the worst in 100 years, and the invaders report the first casualty.

The so-called “head of Crimea” Sergey Aksyonov said that 425,000 people in Crimea are without electricity due to the bad weather.

Chornomorsky, Saky, Belogorsk, Simferopol, Oktyabrsky, Bakhchisaray and Leninsky districts of the peninsula were the most affected.

The sea water also washed away the trenches of the Russian occupiers on the coast in Yevpatoriya. At the same time, according to the Institute for the Study of War, the storm in Crimea affected the pace of the war in Ukraine, but did not stop the fighting completely.
