Ukrainian Armed Forces shoot down a rare Russian Terminator near Avdiivka (video)
The Ukrainian military used FPV strike drones to destroy a rare Russian Terminator combat vehicle.
The video of the attack on the equipment was published online.
A company of unmanned aerial vehicles of the 110th separate mechanized brigade hit a Terminator tank support vehicle near Avdiivka.
A Russian infantry fighting vehicle fired twin automatic 30 mm cannons at the positions of the Ukrainian military in an attempt to drive the infantry out.
However, the pilots of the 110th Brigade managed to track the Russian vehicle and hit it twice in the frontal projection. It is not yet known whether the combat vehicle was completely disabled.
We managed to geolocate the exact location of the Russian Terminator infantry fighting vehicle (here) on the eastern outskirts of Avdiivka.
In total, since the beginning of the invasion, in addition to this machine, Oryx project analysts have documented the destruction of one Terminator and damage to two more.
BMPT “Terminator”– is a multi-purpose protected tracked combat vehicle conceptually designed to provide fire support for tank units.
The BMPT is capable of fighting lightly armored targets, tanks, fortifications and manpower. For this purpose, the vehicle is armed with two 30-mm cannons, two AG-30 automatic grenade launchers, and the Ataka anti-tank system.
Uralvagonzavod uses the chassis, body parts, components and assemblies of the T-90A tank to produce the BMPT. The crew consists of five people.
