Despite the difficult weather conditions, the soldiers of the 45th separate artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully use howitzers to destroy Russian infantry.
The American-made M777 howitzer eliminates Russian invaders in all weather conditions. Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhny posted a video of the equipment on Facebook.
Servicemen of the 45th separate artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine use a howitzer despite the difficult weather conditions. The artillery unit allows to perform the task clearly and efficiently.
“We are ready to work rain or shine to support the infantry on the front lines,” the post reads.
The artillerymen emphasized that the intensity of their work depends on the number of targets they hit. Today, for example, a Ukrainian unit successfully hit a concentration of enemy personnel.
“The fewer enemies there are on our land, the closer our Victory is,” they said.
M777 howitzers in Ukraine
For the first time, the U.S. military showed how to load shells into M777 howitzers for Ukraine in April 2022. At the time, it was said that the United States would send at least 90 M777 howitzers and 184 thousand howitzers to the Ukrainian Armed Forces ammunition for them The parcel was delivered by a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft from California.
In June 2023, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers spoke about the M777 howitzer with high-precision Excalibur. Gunners say that Excalibur is an extremely effective munition that is guaranteed to destroy the target. This saves time and conventional shells.
In June 2022, Ukrainian artillery destroyed two APCs-82 and an Msta-B howitzer of the Russian Federation troops. The Russian occupiers decided to hide the equipment among the dense vegetation, but the M777 gun crew eliminated the combat vehicles with an accurate shot.

Journalists said that the White House and the Pentagon warned that the United States would soon be unable to supply Ukrainian Patriot batteries with interceptor missiles, which cost between $2 million and $4 million per unit.
