Ferrari is preparing a new unique car
It seems that the designers from Maranello are developing a unique creation in the spirit of last year’s Ferrari KC23. If so, according to a new trademark registration application filed last week with the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, it could be called the Ferrari PB24.
Ferrari has used two-letter and two-digit names for production cars in the past (e.g., SF90), but given that these numbers seem to indicate the current year, as with the KC23, it seems logical to assume that the PB24 name will be applied to a creation that will be unveiled within the next 12 months. Perhaps this novelty was ordered by someone with the initials “PB”.
The trademark registration application was filed at the same time as Ferrari patented the KC23 design with a rear wing. Perhaps this indicates that the same Ferrari department (special projects) is responsible for both cars, but that is if the PB24 turns out to be a car.
The KC23 was based on the Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo 2020 race car and had a specially designed body. The PB24 may become a special version of the Ferrari 296 GT3, with custom body panels, new lighting and a customized interior.
