He also noted “dramatic” improvements in ChatGPT-4. The chatbot can already be integrated into the work of support services, programmers, tutors, and consultants. And yes, Gates believes that artificial intelligence will soon be able to give quite effective medical advice, and this should be a fantastic breakthrough.
“If you think back to agricultural automation in the early 1900s, many people thought: “Hey, what are people going to do?”. In fact, a lot of new things appeared, a lot of new jobs, and we are much better off than when everyone worked on the land. It will be very similar,” Gates was quoted as saying.
The entrepreneur also emphasized that his Foundation will help to reduce the time gap between the benefits of using such technologies in rich and poor countries.
“In the end, the shortage of doctors and teachers is much more acute in Africa than in the West,” he explained.
