On February 2, SpaceX shared photos of the Megabay Base hangar with new Starship rocket boosters on X. They are preparing for the next three flights.
The complete Starship system is approximately 122 meters high. According to SpaceX’s specification, this is the largest and most powerful rocket ever created, capable of launching up to 150 tons of payload into low Earth orbit.
To date, Starship has been launched twice – in April and November last year. Both ended in explosions. During the second launch, the system achieved some success, going through the full trajectory of the Super Heavy accelerator and separating the system.
SpaceX plans to make its third flight in February 2024, subject to obtaining a launch license from the US Federal Aviation Administration.
