The sports car was involved in an accident in Beverly Hills. Fortunately, no one was injured. But the tow truck damaged the Ferrari even more when trying to load it onto the platform.
There are no details of the accident itself, nor information on who owns the sports car. The attention of ordinary eyewitnesses who filmed the video was drawn to the fact that the Ferrari 458 was being unloaded from a flatbed truck to be put on another tow truck. And both of these processes seemed very difficult and harmful to the poor man.
The video shows that the sports car crashed into a silver Toyota, causing significant damage to both the left and right sides. The airbags also worked. At first glance, the wheel on the right side seems to be barely holding up. Judging by the damage, at best the car will become a “donor” of inexpensive spare parts for other 458s.
While unloading the Ferrari from the first truck, the tow truck operators had to shake the body to remove the Ferrari, as the sports car was stuck on the platform. And all this time it seemed that the supercar was falling apart.
To load the wrecked Ferrari onto the second tow truck, the workers decided to attach a winch to it and simply drag it onto the platform.
As it turned out, the wheels of the sports car were blocked after the accident, but this did not stop the workers at all. It’s a good thing the poor sports car owner wasn’t around at the time, because this process of loading the car onto the platform must have been one of his worst dreams that came true.
The author of the video suggested that the Ferrari driver was intoxicated, cut off several cars, and eventually crashed into a parked Toyota. However, there is no confirmation of these words.
Such a Ferrari 458 costs about $250,000. The sports car is equipped with a 4.5-liter V8 engine that produces 562 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 325 km/h. However, now we can say for sure that this wrecked Ferrari can only drive at the speed of a tow truck.
