Sky predator: The United States successfully tested the latest XQ-67A jet drone
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems has conducted a test flight of the modern XQ-67A jet UAV.
The drone was developed as part of the OBSS (Off-Board Sensing Station) program funded by the US Air Force
The XQ-67A was designed to be relatively inexpensive to manufacture with great potential for modernization. It is planned to develop both attack and reconnaissance types of drones on its basis.
According to the program manager, this will provide an alternative approach to the procurement of real aircraft and will speed up development and reduce costs.
At present, the technical specifications are not disclosed.
