Viber has launched a new useful feature for chats and channels
Viber Ukraine has introduced a new option – folders for chats and channels to help you find the conversations you need faster.
The new product provides such opportunities:
- Create up to 5 folders in addition to the All tab, which displays all chats/channels.
- Organize chats/channels by topic (with friends, family, work, neighbors, news, etc.)
- No restrictions (one folder can contain any number of chats/channels).
- Add one chat/channel to multiple folders.
- Customize the folder name.
- Mark all chats/channels in a folder as read.
The benefits of the new feature include time savings, prioritized chat/channel management, quick access to important conversations, and more.
The feature is currently being tested and will be available to all Viber users starting with version 22.0.
People with more than 10 chats can already see an announcement about the availability of folders when they open the app.
To activate folders manually, you need to perform the following chain of actions:
- Go to More on the home screen.
- Select Manage folders.
- Add favorite chats/channels to folders.
IMPORTANT! Corporate chats/messages hidden under a PIN cannot be added to folders.
