DJI announces new power stations for charging drones: Power 500 and Power 1000 models
DJI is launching new power stations called Power 500 and Power 1000, which are designed to charge drones anytime, anywhere.
Power 1000 with a battery capacity of 1024 W per hour, capable of delivering 2200 W of power. The Power 500, with its 512 Wh battery and 1000 Wh of energy, is a more compact and affordable option.
Both models allow you to quickly charge your drones, providing up to 12 charges for the Power 1000 and about 6 for the Power 500. In addition, the stations are equipped with a variety of ports, including USB-A, USB-C, SDC, and AC power outlets, making them versatile for charging a variety of devices from drones to smartphones and even laptops.
Users can purchase fast charging cables separately. These power plants are available in the US, Europe and Australia.
The company’s plans include the development of solar panels for the Power 500 and Power 1000, which will expand their functionality and allow them to be charged anywhere, even when there is no access to the power grid.
