Xiaomi introduces the world’s smallest 45W fast charger
“Xiaomi has enriched the market of accessories for mobile devices with a fast, compact 45W charger.
The new product is the smallest among the analogs on the market. Thanks to GaN (gallium nitride) technology, the device provides safe, fast charging with a power of 45W while having a minimal size (29 cm3, which is 59% smaller than a traditional 33W charger).
The dimensions of the novelty in millimeters are 32.2 x 32.2 x 32 mm. The accessory is equipped with a USB type C port and supports PD 3.0/QC 3.0/PPS protocols, which allows it to charge various devices, including smartphones, smartwatches, and wireless headphones.
The charger is made of UL94-V0 material, which makes it resistant to fire and high temperatures. The new product is also equipped with several safety systems and is reliably protected against overvoltage and short circuits.
The cost of a 45W Xiaomi GaN USB-C accessory in China in terms of the EU currency is €7.50. The timing of the presentation outside of China is not specified.
