Ukrainian kamikaze robot ARK-1: an innovative development for destroying equipment and attacking enemy positions

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively using ARK-1 ground robotic platforms at the front. Robots perform logistics functions and are used as kamikazes. The compact ARK-1 robotic platform is capable of performing missions 20 km away from the operator.

Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, noted that ARK-1 is equipped with a night camera, accelerates up to 45 kilometers per hour, and overcomes obstacles with an angle of up to 45 degrees. The drone can be controlled remotely at a distance of up to 20 kilometers, which allows the military to risk their lives less.

ARK-1 is a small all-terrain wheeled platform. The drone delivers medicines, food, water, and ammunition to the military, and can also attack enemy equipment and positions as a kamikaze drone. Its advantages include compactness, speed, and quiet operation.

“We believe in the direction of robotics, we invest time and resources in it. Robotisation is the only way to save the lives of our defenders,” wrote Mykhailo Fedorov.
