Ukrainian Armed Forces receive a kamikaze robot that can travel and blow up Russians

Moreover, we are talking about the improvised use of existing technological solutions

An image has appeared in the public domain, which suggests that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have improvised kamikaze robots equipped with MON-200 mines to destroy infantry or light armored vehicles. Based on the nature of the combat unit, this kamikaze robot is used by our defenders to destroy infantry and light armored vehicles of the Russian army.

And if we look at the wheeled chassis of this robotic platform, it is equally likely that it could have been based on one of the pre-war developments in the field of robotic systems for the Armed Forces, or on a “field” development created during Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.

The range of control of such a kamikaze robot that can travel and blow up Russians, and how many similar systems our defenders may have at their disposal, is not yet publicly available. But then it is worth recalling that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have had experience using such ground-based kamikaze drones to destroy Russian occupiers before.

As Defense Express previously reported, during the fighting in the Bakhmut sector in March 2023, soldiers of the 3rd Air Assault Brigade “Azov” used their kamikaze robot equipped with an anti-personnel mine and 12 kg of TNT against the enemy.

This platform was controlled via a radio channel, with the transmission of a “picture” from the course camera, while the progress of the “cotton” was monitored by a drone flying from above. Apparently, the explosion was also carried out with remote control, and all this was already a proven development at that time, ready for mass production.

Let us briefly recall the characteristics of the MON-200 mine: weight – 25 kg, including the weight of the explosive – 12 kg, warhead equipment – 900 warheads in the form of a rod, radius of destruction – up to 200 meters.
