Ukrainian delivery service “Nova Poshta” has begun testing its own digital address system for branches and post machines
“Nova Poshta” is testing its system of digital addresses for branches and post machines. From now on, clients of Nova Poshta can process shipments faster by sending parcels to a digital address without using the names of settlements, streets, and house numbers.
In order to avoid problems related to the same names of cities, streets, etc. and to make the process of registration of shipments twice as fast, “Nova Poshta” has developed its own digital address system, which is currently being tested.
A digital address is a unique number assigned to each branch and post office of Nova Poshta. It consists of a special code of the settlement and the number of the branch or post office in it. The digital address is used exclusively for New Post offices and post offices within Ukraine. The use of a digital address is an additional option for the convenience of customers, so the option to manually enter the address of the recipient remains available.
You can find the digital address of a branch or post office:
- on the website in the Branches section, select the branch/cash machine you need;
- in the mobile application, in the Branches and post offices section, select the desired branch/post office.
It should be noted that the network of the “Nova Poshta” company includes 10,000 branches and 13,000 post machines throughout Ukraine, and the number of shipments in 2021 alone exceeded 372 million.
