Iran intends to supply Russia with hundreds of combat drones for the war against Ukraine

The United States has said that Iran is preparing to supply combat drones to Russia.

This is evidenced by declassified information of American intelligence. National Security Adviser Jay Sullivan said the Iranian government is ready to provide Russia with several hundred drones, including combat drones, on an expedited basis.

In addition, Iran will train the Russian military to use these UAVs. The first training is scheduled for the beginning of July, that is, it has already been completed or is ongoing right now. At the same time, the intelligence did not specify whether there were already deliveries of Iranian drones to Russia.

The information was also confirmed in the White House. One of the representatives of Joe Biden’s office said that news about the supply of UAVs to Russia appeared on the eve of the American president’s trip to the Middle East, where Iran’s nuclear program and the situation in the region will also be discussed. Biden intends to visit Israel and Saudi Arabia.
