Skoda showed a new concept of a 7-seater electric car
The Skoda Vision 7S electric concept is presented with a seat for seven people. The concept provides for a long stay of a large family in the cabin even while charging the electric car.
Skoda is looking to reinvent itself, with an emphasis on introducing a new brand image, a fresh design language and a new product positioning strategy, and they are taking an important step in this direction with the Vision 7S concept.
Announced at the premiere, the show car has a modern interior with seating for seven people, including a child seat installed in the middle. The Czech company is sure that this is the safest place in the car. The independent first and second rows are connected by a third row suitable for children.
‘With our new design language, we are taking the next step and paying even more attention to the customer experience,’ said Skoda’s head of design, Oliver Stefani, ‘we have developed Simply Clever features such as the integrated child seat.’
‘Inside, you will see several tactile controls. They are located on the steering wheel and door panels. At night, the entire interior will be flooded with light, it will also be activated when exiting and entering and will indicate the charging status, as this is an electric car,’ – Skoda promises.
