Google has planned the presentation of new gadgets for October 6
Google, on the eve of Apple’s big presentation, sent out invitations to its own traditional October presentation of new Pixel devices. The event will take place on October 6 — the show will start at 5:00 p.m. Kyiv time and will be broadcast online.

The central place in the upcoming presentation is given to the flagship smartphones Pixel 7 / Pixel 7 Pro and the first smartwatch Pixel Watch, which has already been well delayed – both gadgets were previously announced by Google at the May I/O conference (1 and 2).
The design of the new products has not been a secret for a long time – the website of the Google online store contains a page with a description of the main features of the future Pixel 7 flagships. In particular, the hardware basis of both models will be the next generation of the processor of its own development – Tensor G2.
More detailed technical characteristics are still unknown, but, as they say, it is not evening yet. Just the day before yesterday, a video appeared on the network with the unboxing of the probably serial Pixel 7 Pro in glossy black color. And in person, the novelty looks exactly as it did in earlier renderings — the back panel of the device is decorated with a decorative aluminum insert with two holes for the main cameras and auxiliary sensors. Even earlier — in May — a Pixel 7 prototype appeared on eBay, and then another user on Reddit claimed to have been able to buy a 7 Pro prototype on Facebook Marketplace.
As for the Pixel Watch smartwatch, which has been constantly discussed for the past several years, back in April, the prototype of the future competitor Apple Watch 8 and Samsung Galaxy Watch5 was forgotten in one of the restaurants, so its design is also known. The Pixel Watch’s description page highlights that it’s ‘the first smartwatch built by Google inside and out.’
In the teaser video with the announcement of the presentation, you can also see the Pixel Buds Pro TWS headphones, which entered the market back in the summer. The Pixel Tablet, which will mark Google’s return to the market after an 8-year hiatus, is expected only in 2023. However, it is possible that on October 6, we will learn more about Google’s mysterious AR glasses with a real-time translation function, or the company has hidden some more unexpected announcements.
