Russia will aim nuclear weapons at military facilities in Ukraine, — mass media
The Russian Armed Forces will need a day to deconserve nuclear weapons, move them to a point for a tactical strike on Ukraine and carry it out.
If Russia dares to launch a nuclear attack on the territory of Ukraine, it will most likely be carried out on a military training ground or another object of military infrastructure. Bloomberg writes about it.
In their assessments, journalists refer to the opinion of sources close to the Ministry of Defense, who believe that the Kremlin’s nuclear strike on Ukraine will be demonstrative.
The editorial staff of Bloomberg also paid attention to the number of nuclear weapons that Russia possesses and their condition. According to the publication, the Russian army has approximately two thousand nuclear warheads. They, for their part, are located in 12 warehouses throughout the territory of the Russian Federation.
In order to bring the weapon into combat readiness and move it to the place from which the alleged nuclear strike will be launched, it will take a day. In theory, during this time, US satellites will be able to monitor activity near nuclear weapons depots and use this information to ensure global security.
Earlier, the world media reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin had sent a nuclear military train to the front in Ukraine. The equipment belongs to the 12th Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which is responsible for the operation of the country’s nuclear arsenal. It is assumed that Russia is preparing a demonstrative nuclear attack on the border with Ukraine.
In addition, the Center for Strategic Communications of Ukraine has developed recommendations for various situations during a nuclear strike. The algorithm of actions depends on where a person is at the time of using a weapon of mass destruction – at home, on the street or on the road.
