It became known that Ukraine could receive ATACMS immediately after the transfer of the HIMARS military equipment. Until now, they have not been delivered. At the same time, the Pentagon does not rule out the possibility that this may happen in the future.

MGM-140 ATACMS are manufactured by Lockheed Martin. They are equipped with solid-state rocket engines. Projectiles are designed for point damage to command posts, air defense facilities, launchers, arsenals, communication nodes, etc. The ATACMS is guided to the target using GPS, which makes it possible to operate the ammunition in any weather and time of day.
