Israel will provide US officials with evidence of the use of Iranian drones in the war against Ukraine. This was reported by The Times of Israel.
Herzog’s office said Tuesday that the president will share photographic evidence showing Russia’s use of Iranian drones in its war against Ukraine. Israeli security services have identified the fragments of drones used against Ukraine as being of Iranian origin,” the message says.
It is claimed that despite Iran’s denials, as well as attempts to hide the Iranian origin of the drones by adding “Russian inscriptions” to them, it is obvious that the fragments of the drones found in Ukraine are identical to the Iranian ones.
“Iran proves once again that it cannot be trusted and that in every region where there is killing, suffering and hatred, there is Iran. Iranian weapons play a central role in global destabilization, and the international community must learn this lesson now,” the Israeli president said.
Earlier, The New York Times reported that Ukraine successfully shoots down Iranian drones that Russia uses to bombard Ukrainian cities, and it does so with the help of Israeli intelligence.
