Russia ordered kamikaze drones with video cameras from Iran
Iran will supply Russia with a new type of drones. We are talking about the Meraj-521 model, which is a clone of the American Switchblade 300. This became known from Yuriy Ignat from the Armed Forces of the ZSU.
The military noted that Meraj-521 will soon appear in Ukraine. No one doubts that Russia will receive a new type of kamikaze drone from Iran. Russian carriers run between Moscow and Tehran with enviable regularity.
Ukrainian intelligence is trying to establish how much ammunition and ballistic missiles Iran is ready to hand over to the Russians. Ignat believes that the appearance of a new type of drones in the armed forces of the Russian Armed Forces will not lead to a turning point.
The Meraj-521 drone was shown for the first time during the IRGC exercises. According to ‘Military’, the range of barrage ammunition is 5 km. It is capable of carrying warheads of three types weighing up to one kilogram on board. As with the Switchblade 300, the Meraj-521 uses a pneumatic launcher to launch.
