The Armed Forces of Ukraine won the BTR-82A with protection against nuclear, biological and chemical weapons (video)

There are only 150 of them in Russia

The Ukrainian military captured a good trophy in the Zaporozhye region – a modern Russian BTR-82A, including crew members, which will replenish the exchange fund. Mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, announced this on Telegram, publishing a video of the successful operation.

The BTR-82A is a Russian armored personnel carrier that is a deep modernization of the BTR-80 and entered service in 2013. Equipped with a rapid-firing 30 mm 2A72 cannon and has protection against nuclear, biological and chemical weapons. As of 2021, Russia had only 150 such armored personnel carriers (but already less – thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine).
