The Baykar factory in Ukraine is planned to be built in two years
General Director of Baykar company Haliuk Bayraktar said that despite some obstacles, the plan to build a plant in Ukraine is progressing

According to Halyuk Bayraktar, despite the obstacles created by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, plans to build the plant are moving forward.
“Our plan is being implemented,” the head of Bayka said.
According to him, they have already completed the detailed design phase and have a ready-made architectural project with them. Now they start construction. The company plans to finish it within two years.
Ukraine occupies an important place in Baykar’s supply chain. In particular, the Akinci drone, the Kizilelma (Golden Apple) drone fighter, which are currently being developed, use Ukrainian engines from Motor Sich and Ivachenko-Progress.
- On August 8, it became known that Halyuk Bayraktar purchased a plot of land in Ukraine for the construction of a factory for the production of drones “Bayraktar”.
- On September 11, the general director of the Baykar company said that because of the war, he does not plan to cancel plans to build a plant in Ukraine.
