iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro will get different USB-C ports
Only top models will have increased data transfer speed
Apple recently confirmed that it plans to add a USB-C charging port to future iPhone models. Currently, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (Ming-Chi Kuo) gave more details about it.
So, according to Kuo, the iPhone 15 models will have different USB-C ports. The basic versions of the devices (iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus) will receive a USB 2.0 connector with a data transfer speed of up to 480 Mbit/s. That is, like Lightning in the current line.

I predict that 15 Pro & 15 Pro Max will support at least USB 3.2 or Thunderbolt 3. This spec upgrade means the wired transfer and video output user experience will significantly improve.— 郭明錤 (Ming-Chi Kuo) (@mingchikuo) November 17, 2022
As for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max (aka iPhone 15 Ultra), the new products will be able to boast USB-C 3.2 or Thunderbolt 3 ports. In the first case, the devices will be able to transfer data at a speed of up to 20 Gbit/s, and in the second – up to 40 Gbit/s.
