Belarusian importer Nissan announced the exit of the Japanese car brand from the Belarusian market. This is reported by ‘Interfax-Ukraine’.
A message appeared on the importer’s website that on November 23, the Nissan Motor company ‘ended its activities in Russia and the Republic of Belarus and is transferring its Russian assets to FDUP ‘NAMI’.
‘The direction of Japanese cars with mileage will be more developed on the market. But new parties should not be expected for objective reasons. So, in fact, now we will sell off the last cars without mileage… As for the service of Japanese cars, it will continue in full and under all obligations,’ the company commented.
We will remind: on October 1, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation announced the nationalization of Nissan plants in Russia. The executive committee of Nissan has approved the sale of its Russian assets to Nissan Manufacturing Rus, including the plant in St. Petersburg, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation NAMI.
