Russia has changed its strike tactics with the Shahed-136

The occupiers began to use the drones supplied by Iran in a different way. This became known from Natalia Humenyuk.

The press secretary of OK ‘Pivden’ reported that the Russians have changed their tactics. Now they use Shahed-136 not so often. The first batch of drones quickly ran out. Most of the aircraft failed to reach their targets. They were shot down during the approach to infrastructure facilities.

The Russians use drones from the second batch more economically. They launch them in order to identify the location of Ukrainian air defense systems. Next comes the second wave of kamikaze UAVs. Humenyuk emphasized that the launch of several dozen aircraft is carried out in order to detect air defense systems. In this regard, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine asks citizens not to report on social networks about the work of the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces. All channels and groups are monitored by Russian special services.

Russia last used Iranian drones on December 19. A Shahed-136 swarm, consisting of 20 drones, attacked Kyiv and the Mykolaiv region. 15 drones were shot down by Ukrainian air defense systems.
