Alienware AW2524H gaming monitor with a screen refresh rate of 500 Hz will be presented at CES 2023

According to the leak, Alienware is preparing the fastest desktop gaming monitor to date. Insider Chi11eddog took to Twitter to share an image of the Alienware AW2524H, an IPS monitor with a maximum screen refresh rate of 500Hz. He added that this gaming monitor will be officially unveiled at CES 2023 starting next week.

The resolution of the monitor is 1920×1080 pixels. 480 Hz is available when using the DisplayPort connector, 500 Hz can be obtained with a little overclocking. Marking AW2524H shows that the monitor has a diagonal of 25 inches (probably 24.5′). Most of the company’s currently available models have the two numbers ’23’ after the diagonal in the name – we can assume that the AW2524H will soon go on sale and will be relevant until 2024. Finally, Alienware adds a ‘D’ to the name of the curved monitors, so it’s definitely a flat display. The suffix ‘H’ can signal a high refresh rate.

The design of the Alienware AW2524H resembles the appearance of the current AW2523HF monitor, except that the logo text on the back is a different color. This model, available for around $400, also features a fast FHS IPS panel, well proven, but supports a frequency of ‘only’ 360 Hz. The vast majority of gamers don’t care whether the refresh rate is 360 Hz or 500 Hz, but the new Alienware monitor may interest serious esports players with powerful PCs.

The CES 2023 exhibition will be held from January 5 to 8. During it, many new products from leading technology companies are expected to be presented:
