Sabotage in the Bryansk region of Russia: first footage of burning cars published (video)

Now, according to journalists, a fire has broken out at the site of the derailed cars and is being urgently extinguished by special services.

Local authorities in the Bryansk region have officially confirmed the information about the derailment of a train carrying oil products, which became known on May 1. This was reported by the pro-Russian Telegram channel Baza.

It is known that the incident occurred as a result of a rail explosion, which caused 7-8 cars lying on their side to derail. Currently, a fire is burning at the scene and emergency services are working.

The head of the region, Oleksandr Bohomaz, confirmed that an unknown explosive device had blown up the railroad tracks. He also said that the incident occurred on the 136th kilometer of the Bryansk-Unecha railroad.

“On the Rassukha-Unecha stretch, a 60-car train loaded with oil products and lumber derailed due to damage to the track. Previously, shortly before the train derailment, the railroad was blown up,” the report said.

The channel also published a video showing a flash of derailed cars.

Currently, train traffic on the Unecha-Rassukha section has been suspended. Therefore, Russians are warned about the delay of some passenger trains to Moscow.
